Barcelona Institute for Global Health (InSPIRES Coordintaror)
ISGlobal’s mission is to improve global health and promote health equity through excellence in research and the translation and application of knowledge. The institute, which originated in a joint initiative of the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and the University of Barcelona, has amassed over 30 years of experience in the field of global health. The pivotal mechanism of its work model is the transfer of knowledge generated by scientific research to practice, a task undertaken by the Training, Innovation, and Policy and Global Development departments.
Role in the Project
ISGlobal will lead the coordination and management of the InSPIRES programme in Work Package 1, as well as the research on impact evaluation activities in WP6, and communication, dissemination and exploitation endeavours in WP7. ISGlobal will also participate in other WPs.
